Compressed air is an essential requirement of your Dry Ice Cleaning solution. It is important to use clean and dry air for Dry Ice Blasting. Always use a compressor with an “After- Cooler” or “Refrigerated Dryer” fitted. It is important to marry you Dry Ice Blaster with the correct air supply. You need to make sure that you have enough volume of air as well as enough pressure. These two elements are closely linked. You can plenty of pressure at the compressor but if this pressure is not supplied with enough volume of air, then the pressure will “collapse” as the blaster gun is activated. We are happy to discuss the requirements with you before you purchase a compressor to ensure you have a system that will operate correctly.
With Diesel compressors it is important to use a suitable After-cooler with a particulate filter to remove diesel contaminants, as well a water filter to dry the air even further. Even with a new compressor we strongly recommend the use of an "After-Cooler” as there is always going to be moisture in the air provided by your compressor. We use and strongly recommend the “SULLAIR” range of portable diesel compressors because of their attention to the delivery of Clean & Dry air.
We can recommend "KAISHAN" & “Focus” 3 phase electric compressors which are ideal and economical for use in a workshop situation. Kaishan also supply us with Aftercoolers which we modify to suit our requirements for portable systems.
We have partnered with “SULLAIR”, “FOCUS” and “KAISHAN’ as we believe these companies can offer you a complete solution, at an affordable price. Let us put together a total package matching your requirements. Simple and Affordable finance packages can be structured to your needs.
